Lavender soap

Lavender in known in the Bible as Spikenard: "Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment." John 12:3

Since Biblical times Lavender was prized for Its wonderful scent and Its healing properties and used as perfume and as a healing herb in ointments and tea.

This soap is made with at least 30ml pure Jordan River water drawn at the Yardenit Baptismal site, and 40% extra virgin olive oil from Olive trees grown above the shores of the Sea of Galilee.

Lavender leaves are collected from the wild foliage of the Galilee are added to the soap for extra scent and  gentle exfoliation
